The Theater Workshop has…

 

Brought Austen, Dickens, Shakespeare, Moliere and more to life as our South LA teens continue making the classics relevant and authentic to their lives.

 

Found partnerships with growing networks of cultural, scholarly  and artistic institutions, individuals including USC JEP, the Huntington Library Shakespeare Institute, Dickens Project, Jane Austen Society of North America, LACMA and more.

Put up full length productions bi-annually, featured on the USC website front page and drawing the recognition of the USC and Foshay community.

 

Brought theater, literature, community and a sense of accomplishment to over a hundred high school students in a growing roster of current and former cast and crew and over a thousand audience members of peers, family and friends.

 5 K Theater Angel Production Sponsor- funds the production of 1 show of a classical literary text by cast and crew of South LA students for one semester.

 

10 K Theater Angel Workshop Sponsor funds the production of 2 shows of two classical literary texts by cast and crew of South LA students, one each semester, for one school year.
